This past Sunday’s early morning Obama bash fest- on ABC-featured Attorney General Eric Holder, who opined that some of the opposition to President Obama himself and others in the administration was due to a racial animus.

“There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me, directed at the president,” Holder told ABC.

“You know, people talking about taking their country back…. There’s a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there’s a racial animus.”

Holder’s comments were tempered and it’s understandable with ninety-eight percent of our media being owned by White- Conservatives (MediaOwners.com) any push back or hint of recognition or a racial component can be quickly spun into so much whining and charges of playing the race card.

So since Holder could only tell the half of it-and he feel far short of that-I’ll give you the unabashed truth; 100% of the opposition to this President and his administration is based on his race, period.

The media loves to play up the political angle, arguing its simply a case of Republican’s verses Democrats and nothing more.

They point to the Impeachment of President Clinton and even mention President Carter. Certainly opposition to them wasn’t based on race? Yet what was really behind the Impeachment of President Clinton who was called by many the first Black President?

Noted author Toni Morrison was prophetic when she offered the treatment of Bill Clinton is what we’d look forward to, if ever we did get a black president.

OBAMA

Some exit polls had 97%  of blacks- who voted-voting for Bill Clinton. Clinton’s policies were perceived as friendly to blacks even if they weren’t (Welfare Reform and removing Glass-Steagall comes to mind).

President Carters demise can be directly traced to Reverend Martin Luther King Sr. speaking at his nomination as well as Vernon Jordan, Andrew Jackson etc. in his Cabinet or as advisers.

When you look at who succeeded President Carter in the White House (Ronald Reagan) the racial component of his demise becomes even more apparent.

New York Times Columnist David Brooks brought it home for me in an NBC appearance on an earlier Obama bash fest when he made the following statement.

This President just doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand why we don’t like him.~David Brooks

Brooks’ comment speaks to why Attorney General Holder had to temper his but it also speaks to how truly inept and clueless the right wants to believe President Obama and blacks on the whole are.

Blacks who work for the media-albeit by mandate- are also on board with downplaying the obvious. Washington Post Opinion Writer Jonathan Capehart in discussing the recent lawsuit by Speaker Boehner against the President is certain that Obama will be impeached.

Boehner’s litigation is an ill-advised stunt that will get the president impeached because the speaker has no control over his caucus.”

~Jonathan Capehart

While I have problems with the above comments of Capehart-Republicans would need no less than 54 Democratic votes in the Senate to impeach-his comments on President Obama-becoming more candid in acknowledging race as a factor in opposition to him in his second term- is flat out wrong.

Its very important that the truth be told as to whether or not America’s most accomplished President was oblivious as to why racists opposed him and or if he would avoid the issue of why they opposed him, until his final years in office.

When people get to know me they tend to warm up to me.” President Obama told Steve Cross of CBS News.

The answer to Croft’s question, while accepted by the veteran 60 Minutes contributor wasn’t a denial that opposition centers on his race but it wasn’t a dismissal of the claim either.

Capehart and others who make the argument the President is more open to discussing as Brooks said, Why they don’t like him fail to consider Barack Obama never becomes President if he doesn’t know why racists don’t like him or how devastating it would be to flip flop as to why they don’t like him in his second term.

At the end of the day history will not record why those who lost to President Barack Obama opposed him.

History will record that this President grew the economy more than any other U.S. President that he grew the Fed Bank and Treasury more than any other U.S. President that he cut more taxes and spending than any other U.S. President.

Perhaps more importantly, history will record that President Barack Obama ended the over two-hundred and fifty years held myth that the black race and culture is inferior. That will be the only thing that matters.
