The Conservative majority on the Supreme Court strikes again they are scared to death that Democracy has worked and are convinced that our Founding Fathers wanted Blacks to remain as Slaves.
The High Court today ruled that recess appointments are illegal if those appointments were made during a recess of less than ten days. The ruling means that any appointments made during a less than ten day recess are invalid.
All of this is moot due to the recent decision of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid(D Nevada) who invoked the Nuclear Option, which allows a court appointee to be confirmed with a simple majority as oppose to a super majority of 60 votes or more.
Immediately after Reid’s Nuclear Option over 90 Judges were confirmed within’ two months of the ruling. No information was available as to how many appointments were affected but with the Senate Democrats having a majority confirmations are all but assured.
Shame on our 98% Conservative owned media for not even mentioning the fact that this ruling- while a slight to President Obama and a caution on future Executive Actions skirting the racists in Congress- it will have little to no affect on his ability to appoint the Judges of his choosing.
The Obama revolution continues.
