“I can’t defend a race of people just cause they’re African-American” ~Kobe Bryant

by Theron K. Cal

Los Angeles, CA– I was shocked to the point to where I couldn’t believe he even said it. Reports out of New York are that during an interview with the New Yorker Magazine–yes the same rag had the President and First Lady as radical Afro wearing commandos armed and ready for the revolution on the cover–Kobe Bryant said he was disturbed by the Miami Heat showing favor for Trayvon Martin.

Bryant apparently offered that; if we are to move forward to a post black people existence we can’t be standing with black children who look like President Obama after racist monsters like George Zimmerman chase them home and murder them in cold blood.

From all the evidence presented at Zimmerman’s trial Trayvon Martin was stalked, assaulted, ran, was then told, “You’re gonna die tonight homie” and then executed on the spot. The admitted reason? Because he was black.

If in fact Kobe Bryant didn’t watch the trial is that any excuse to not consider the injustice of murdering a teenager because he’s black?

Trayvon Martin was tall, thin, a couple of years younger but still kinda’ like a lanky kid from Philadelphia’s Lower Merion High School when he was drafted and latter traded to the Lakers.

Heat in Hoodies

NFL great and Civil Rights pioneer, Jim Brown created some stir when he said if he were to hold a summit of the black athletes and influence makers of today, Kobe Bryant would not be invited.

If my memory servers me, I probably defended Kobe as maybe doing his thing in his own way, possibly behind the scenes. I realize now that was nonsense.

Kobe Sold Out when he met a then seventeen year old extra and aspiring video vixen by the name of Vanessa Lane on a music video shoot in LA’s Miracle Mile District.  He Sold Out when he had sex with the white girl in Colorado who accused him of rape.

Excusing these racists for murdering Trayvon Martin goes beyond the pale and will no doubt solidify Kobe’s place in history as a 100% Sellout.

Clueless Bryant responded to criticism by posting the quote by Dr. King that he hoped his children would be judged by their character and not by the color of their skin.

Apparently Kobe thinks we’re judging Zimmerman by the color of his skin and not by the fact that he murdered a teenage boy because he looked like the President. Is it too late to trade him for Justin Timberlake?
