-BREAKING NEWS CAMPAIGN 2016 April 27, 2016 (UPDATE)
(Philadelphia, PA ) Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton struck a conciliatory tone in her victory speech in Philadelphia, “We have so much more in common than we have in differences” she told a raucous crowd with Prince music playing in the background. Clinton won three solid victories losing to Sanders in Rhode Island and winning Connecticut two hours after the Polls closed.
Sanders was defiant in his speech in Huntington, West Virginia telling his supporters that he still has a path to winning the nomination and he’s polling better-with the racists who support trump-than Hillary is. Absent from his speech was the lie about having the momentum with Sanders losing four of the last five Primaries.
“We are doing something very unusual in contemporary American politics. We are telling the truth” ~Bernie Sanders
Sanders’ campaign was stewing after an Associated Press story saying, Hillary Clinton can lose every remaining contest and still win the nomination with popular vote and pledged delegates.
New York businessman Donald J. Trump won a five state sweep, offering that he’d like to see Bernie Sanders make a 3rd Party run to split the vote from Clinton allowing the Republicans to destroy President Obama and kick the Nations black population back into 1950.
