Stephen A. Smith Goes on Angry Rant About Tom Brady, ‘Juvenile’ Obama-Haters

audio 582

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith went on a very angry rant on his radio show yesterday against Tom Brady for not showing up when the Patriots visited the White House this week. Brady said he had a “family commitment,” but Smith was incredibly skeptical.

“When you won the Super Bowl in 2001 and George W. Bush was president,” he said, “you were there. When you won back-to-back Super Bowl titles in 2003 and 2004, with George W. Bush still president, you were there. How come you wasn’t there yesterday when President Barack Obama was there?”

Smith suggested that maybe Brady’s secretly a Republican, but it shouldn’t matter anyway because everyone should respect the office of the presidency. And when an NFL team is being honored by that president, Smith said it’s pretty strange when the face of the franchise doesn’t show up. CLICK HERE FOR AUDIO
